I am really excited to have the BILRBG website up and running, and my heart is that many will discover the ability to let go, and let God take control of the reins of every aspect of their lives.
A journey beginning in faith, yet marked by deep spiritual disconnect, eventually led to a profound transformation, highlighting the possibility of surrendering control to God. Despite being raised in a Christian home and accepting Jesus as saviour, a persistent sense of restlessness, irritability, and discontentment plagued me. While witnessing God's power in the world, I felt unable to access personal help or connection to the divine. This led to a desperate search for relief, finding temporary escape in alcohol, drugs, and a wayward lifestyle. This period lasted for over seventeen years, culminating in active alcoholism, drug addiction, and a wayward life riddled with misery, guilt, fear, and disillusionment.
The situation reached an impasse; despite trying countless methods, a reversal of the destructive lifestyle seemed impossible. It was in this moment of intense pain and desperation that a workable, step-by-step solution was discovered. The sheer desperation fuelled a willingness to try anything, which, surprisingly, proved less daunting than initially anticipated. As the practical program was worked through, the addictions and compulsions, without conscious effort, began to subside.
Even more remarkably, a profound connection with God began to emerge without being actively sought. A sudden realization of God's constant presence and guiding hand became evident, accompanied by an inexplicable sense of divine control, fostering a newfound peace, comfort, joy, and hope that had never existed before. Over the years, through continued engagement with the same solution, I found the ability to surrender more aspects of life to God's care, further solidifying this transformative relationship and the resulting peace it brought.
After navigating a period of profound spiritual disconnect and battling addictions, a new phase of life has begun—one marked by a deep and continuous relationship with God. This connection isn't just about infrequent prayer; it involves a constant dialogue throughout the day, fostering a strong sense of purpose. While the specifics of this divine purpose remain veiled for now, a sense of peace and trust prevails, knowing that God is meticulously orchestrating every detail and will unveil the path at the opportune moment.
This newfound closeness wasn't immediate in all areas of my life; it required identifying and overcoming certain spiritual blockages, which, though initially unrecognized, had been hindering a deeper relationship with God. Observing many others both within and outside the church experiencing similar feelings of spiritual separation, a clear objective for the new website emerged: to offer this very workable solution to those seeking it. It is to present individuals the spiritual set of tools to achieve a personal breakthrough to a life run by God, free of addictions and dependencies, and fostering peace, joy, and contentment as they embrace a life guided by God. This journey underscores the importance of trusting God's timing and allowing Him to reveal His purpose in His own way, leading to a life filled with purpose and fulfilment.
